The program is specially designed to encourage young minds to think and generate integrative approaches towards contemporary challenges in biology. /the broad areas that would be covered in this course are information flow in biological systems, time and space in biological systems, biomolecules and cells: a systems biology approach, host-pathogen interactions, microbes and environment, bioinformatics and scientific communication skills-theory and practice. They believe that this course structure allow students to develop holistic understating of biological processes and help them develop into trans-disciplinary scientists and integrative biologist.
