Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test (MP PET) is a state level test is conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board for admission to various Bachelor courses like Engineering, Pharmacy, Dairy, Agriculture, and Forestry. All government colleges, private colleges and Autonomous institutes accept the score of this test and give admission on the basis of the merit obtained in the test.

Eligibility criteria:

Following students are eligible to apply for this test:

• The one who has passed his 10+2 exam from conducted by Higher Secondary Board, Madhya Pradesh with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.

• The one who has passed any equivalent or higher examination conducted by a recognized Board or a recognized university.

• The one who has passed his final year of Diploma from in any engineering branch from Madhya Pradesh Board of Technical Education Bhopal / Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal.

• The candidate should not be of more that 21years on 1st October of the year in which he/she is taking the test. The age relaxation upto 3years is given in case the candidate fall under SC/ST category.

Proposed important dates:

1. 12-05-09 to 25-08-09 – availability of application forms.
2. 02-06-09 – deadline for submission of completed application forms.
3. 21-06-09 and 22-06-09 – date of examination.

Please take care that the dates are only proposed, these are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are released officially.

Examination pattern:

1. The examination will contain MCQs from PCM and the maximum marks is 300.
2. The syllabus of the examination will be class 11th and 12th PCM.
3. The candidates appearing for architecture examination have to give an aptitude test.
