VIT Engineering Entrance Examination
(VITEEE - 2011)
We received requests from candidates and their parents to avoid the conflict of time of VITEEE with IIST ( ISAT ) entrance examination. So we have shifted the examination to the afternoon session at 2.30 to 5.00 p.m. on 16th April, 2011 (Saturday). Hence students who are appearing for IIST ( ISAT ) and other exams will be able to write VITEEE in the afternoon in the same city.
Applications are invited for VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE - 2011):
- Date: 16th April 2011 (Saturday)
- Time: 2.30 pm - 5.00 pm
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates born bon or after 1st July 1989 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2011. A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology. Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in March/April 2011 are also eligible to apply. Know more..

- Last Date of receipt of Application: 28.02.2011
- Tentative Date of Entrance Exam: 16.04.2011
- VITEEE 2011 Result: 06-05-2011 (Tentative)
Application Form:
The Prospectus and the information brochure for the B.Tech. Degree programme -2011, along with the necessary enclosures which include the Application Form and a printed self-addressed envelope, can be obtained against cash payment of Rs. 750/- from the various post offices as given.
Candidates can obtain from the designated branches of post offices on cash payment of Rs. 750/- (or)
By sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore to the address of Admissions Officer, VIT University, Vellore with a request letter containing the complete address with phone number. (or)
By handing over a DD of Rs. 750/- in person at VIT University

VITEEE-2011 Application Form can be obtained against cash payment of Rs.750/- from the various Post Offices listed.

VITEEE-2011 On-line Application form:
(I) Steps to be followed before filling up of the VITEEE-2011 On-line Application form
- Before filling the application form, Kindly refer the Information Brochure carefully
- Fill all the columns carefully, incomplete application form will be rejected
- Enter the required details and then click on the 'Submit & Proceed to Printing' Button on the bottom of the page.
- Please check the content before proceeding for print. The print out should be in A4 size only
- The duly filled-in application form to be affixed with colour passport size photograph and Signature
- The application form to be sent along with the DD of Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore for Indian candidates / DD of 50 USD for NRI candidates.
- The application form has to be sent to the address of Admissions Officer, VIT University, Vellore-632014, Tamil Nadu, India
- Kindly note down the application number generated for any future correspondence.
- Candidates are advised to take photocopy of the application form.
