Eligibility: The candidates
having Indian nationality should have passed Senior School Certificate
Examination from the recognised School/ College/ Institute located within the
National Capital Territory of Delhi or any other examination recognised as
equivalent there to by the University of Delhi securing 60% or more marks in the
aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50% or more marks for
candidates belonging to SC/ ST category, 55% or more marks for candidates
belonging to CW (Defence)/ Physically Handicapped category). The candidates who
are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the
CEE-2008. ; ; ; Minimum Age: 17 years on or before 1st October, 2008.
Application procedure: a) Bulletin
of Information for CEE-2008 for Delhi Region Only : The Bulletin of Information
containing further details, prescribed application form and syllabi for CEE-2008
can be obtained from the sale counter of the (1) Faculty of Technology, (Delhi
University), Room No. HCFF-13, First Floor (Health Centre), Delhi college of
Engineering (New Campus), Bawana Road, Delhi-110042, (2) Netaji Subhas Institute
of Technology. Sector-3, Dwarka, Papankalan, New Delhi-110045 on submission of
Pay Order/ Demand Draft drawn on any Bank of Rs. 400/- (inclusive of examination
fee) on working days from Monday to Friday between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (lunch
01:00 pm. to 01:30 pm.) ; ; ; ; (b) The application form can also be downloaded
from www.dce.ac.in, www.nsit.ac.in,
www.du.ac.in. The
downloaded form should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- in favour
of the "Registrar, Delhi University, Delhi." ; ; ; c) The Bulletin of
Information can also be obtained by post by sending a Pay Order/ Demand Draft
drawn on any bank of Rs 475/- (Inclusive of examination fee and postal charges).
The request for supply of Bulletin of Information by post should be sent to The
Dean, Faculty of Technology, (Delhi University), Room No. HCFF-13, First Floor
(Health Centre), Delhi College of Engineering (New Campus), Bawana Road,
Delhi-110042 along with two self addressed slips. ------ The Demand Draft/ Pay
Order should be in favour of the REGISTRAR, DELHI UNIVERSITY, DELHI. Please
write your name, address and telephone number (if any) at the back of the Demand
Draft/ Pay Order.
