Key to cracking AIEEE...

Before I begin my clichéd little lecture on “cracking” the AIEEE, there is one piece of advice I must give you first: Take this entire thing with a grain of salt. This is not to say that all I say is necessarily wrong, it’s only that, all said and done; it is you who will be giving the exam, not me. So look through this, decide what you want to keep and what you want to throw away, and move on.

First of all, in case you have also given the JEE, know that it’s time to shift gears. The JEE’s over, bro, and no matter how well or how abysmal you have performed in it, the AIEEE is a whole new ball game altogether. To be more precise, it makes no sense to revel in the JEE. True, there’s a lot in AIEEE that is common to JEE, but on the other hand, there are a few nuts and bolts that crop up in the former but are noticeable absentees in the latter. It is these that you must focus on now; so get up, get going and get your act together before the AIEEE comes and goes while you are still in deep thought.
