IIT-K Alumni To Donate Rs 50 Crore

 

Kanpur (PTI): Alumni of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur have decided to donate Rs 50 crore to their alma mater for development works.

"We plan to donate Rs 50 crore to the institute during its Diamond Jubilee in the year 2010," Abhay Bhushan, a former IIT-K student and member of the IIT Alumni Association said.

We want the institute to be figured in the world's top ten technical institutions and donations would help in developmental work here, he said.
