News : IIT- a dream destination

An institution that incites an indomitable desperation in many students, who want to make it big in life.

 IIT is one of the most respectable technical educational institutions not only in India but also in world. One that makes the   aspirations of many take shape, that polishes every potential to the best, and even sometimes, better than the best.

 And like this, there are others as well.

The question however, is what of those who do not get through the admission test? What of those who despite their wish to study in these institutes do not have the financial means to get into it?

Cannot they make it big in life sans the IIT or IIM stamp? Or even if they do, it does not matter as much as it would have, if they were IIT or IIM pass outs? Or even if they do not do as well as their counterparts in IIT, is it because they do not belong to the institution and thus are deprived of the hands that could have moulded their potential in the right direction?

Let's take for example the story of a student who resorted to kidnapping in order to gather money for studying in IIT. Sad, ironic, and yet true.

Yes, of course, life seems to change.

Struck by the misery of expectations from parents, relatives, friends, and more importantly one's self, there grows inevitably, inferiority. Even the eyes of strangers seem to judge us.

After all, it is competition that wins. It is the bestial sense of victory that overpowers; and something deep within dies, perhaps to revive later perhaps, not at all.
