Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology was established in the year 1998 as
an affiliated institution under the University of Madras. Later it was
affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. In 2004, the institution attained the
status of a university under the ambit of Vinayaka Missions University, Salem.
The institution offers under-graduate programmes in 14 different disciplines and
five post-graduate programmes including Master of Computer Applications and
Master of Business Administration
- For Bachelor of Engineering Candidate must have pass in 10 + 2 or its
equivalent examination with an individual pass in English, Mathematics,
Physics & Chemistry
- For Biotechnology, Bio-informatics and Biomedical courses Candidate must
have pass in 10+ 2 or its equivalent examination with an individual pass in
English, Mathematics / Biology, Physics & Chemistry.
- For B.Arch Candidate must have pass in 10+ 2 or its equivalent
examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% with English & Mathematics as
subjects of study and a minimum score of 40% in the National Aptitude Test
in Architecture (NATA) '
- For Master of Engineering B.E/ B.Tech./ MCA/ M.Sc. Degree in the
relevant branch or any equivalent degree from a recognized university.
How To Apply
Application Form can be obtained by sending a DD for Rs.600/-drawn in favor
of "Vinayaka Missions University", payable at Chennai or by paying cash Rs.
500/- in person at address mentioned below. Application Form can also be
downloaded from the website and sent along with a DD (for contact details please

Selection will be made based on the marks secured in the Entrance Examination
conducted by the University on All India basis. Candidates belonging to any
State / Union Territory of India can apply.
